Volunteer

Fellowship Missions couldn’t exist without the many volunteers who help us. But by volunteering, you’re not just helping us, you’re coming alongside our guests and showing them the love of Christ.

If you are looking for a way to get personally involved, check out the following volunteer opportunities.

For more information about these positions or to volunteer, email Tammy Lane.

Volunteer Positions — open to everyone

These volunteer positions are great for families and small groups to serve together.

Homeless Shelter Food Volunteers

Commit to providing supper for the guests at least one night a month. Food needs to be prepared in advance and brought to the shelter ready to serve.

The Gathering Volunteers

Help prepare and/or serve this community dinner, held at Center Lake Pavilion the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Help is also needed to set up and tear down the tables and chairs.

Special Event Volunteers

Periodically we have a fundraiser in the community. We need volunteers to help man the booth, interact with those at the fundraiser, and raise awareness and support for Fellowship Missions.

Additional Volunteer Positions — approval required

Due to the additional responsibility these positions have, each of these volunteers will go through a background check and need to be approved before serving.

Check-In Volunteers

Check-in guests at they arrive at the homeless shelter. Includes welcoming guests, making sure they know and agree to abide by the rules, and overseeing their breathalyzer. This is a great opportunity for couples to serve together.

Overnight Volunteers

Stay overnight with our guests at the homeless shelter to provide oversight and supervision. Men stay at the men’s house; women stay at the women’s house.

Drivers

Help transport guests to specific appointments and meetings throughout the week.

Want to help? We still are in need of volunteers.
